About

Chengzhi Shen is a PhD student at the Chair of AI in Healthcare and Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), supervised by Prof. Dr. Daniel Rueckert, and works closely with Dr. Jiazhen Pan and Dr. Chen Chen. He obtained his master’s degree in Biomedical Computing at TUM. Before joining as a PhD student, Chengzhi worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Alibaba, Taobao Tmall Group, in Hangzhou, China. His research focuses on multimodal foundation models for medical applications, agentic systems, and trustworthy AI.
